Baked Napolitano Ziti

So simple and however so mouth watering.

Baked Napolitano ziti (you can also use penne as a substitute of ziti if you desire) is a rich mixture of sauce, ziti, Italian sausage (consider my refreshing Italian sausage), and cheese. The Italians are inclined to cook dinner the ziti, pour a uncomplicated tomato sauce on leading, and try to eat it prior to main classes.

But the recipe I have made is generally for a primary system. Will not forget about a tiny Chianti or other crimson wine with it. It is also relatively effortless to make in particular if you have the sauce created forward of time. I constantly use my Botticelli’s rich Italian tomato sauce.

Elements (6 servings):

* 1 1/4 kilos moderate Italian sausage

* 3 cups of tomato sauce (Botticelli’s abundant Italian tomato sauce)

* 1 pound ziti or penne noodles

* 1/2 pound contemporary mozzarella cheese

* 2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil

* Salt and pepper to taste

Preparation

Bake the sausage in an oven at 350 levels F for about 30 to 40 minutes (right until brown). After it has cooked, cut each url in 50 % along the size and then lower the halves up into about 1/4 to 1/2 inch items. Reserve.

In the meantime

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. Boil the pasta (use contemporary if you can) in a number of quarts of salted water for about 8 to 10 minutes (al dente). Pour into a colander to take away the drinking water. Spot the olive oil in the same pan you cooked the pasta. Insert the pasta and stir. Incorporate the tomato sauce and sausage together with the salt and pepper and combine properly. Pour almost everything into a huge baking dish and lower slices of mozzarella to address the top. Bake in the oven for 40 minutes or until the mozzarella has begun to brown.

Bon appetit.
